Volunteer Information

[Event Day Tips]

To join one of the teams fill out our registration form and indicate which team you wish to be involved with and we'll contact you with more information and how you can assist.

Prayer Team

  • People to commit to praying daily for this event
  • We'd like to have at least a couple people in each service group who would be willing to evangelize (prepared with tracts, willing to share their testimony and pray with people).
  

Worship Service

  • Group to plan our worship service
  • help with setup
  • Welcome speakers and band/provide food/drinks when needed
  • Decision Counselors
  • tear down

Go Teams

  • Teams that go out to churches and Christian organizations (like college groups) to invite people to attend AustinONE.
  • Go Team leaders
  • Go Team members
 

Hospitality (Snacks, Dinner)

  • Ask restaurants for donations of food
  • set up
  • serve dinner (if needed)
  • clean up
  • distribute leftovers
  • make sure teams have water, snacks, first aid supplies

Event Day Team

  • Prepare signs ahead of time to direct people
  • Direct traffic
  • Check people in who have registered
  • Register newcomers
  • Make nametags
  • Greeters/Information people to answer basic questions
  • T-shirt sales
  

Service Projects

  • Group leaders for smaller service projects (possibly co-leaders)
  • Group leaders for larger service projects (multiple leaders per project)
  • seek donations of supplies/materials
  • on call to provide additional supplies event day

Transportation Team

  • prepare directions for drivers/group
  • make sure groups have transportation
  • drivers of vans and buses
  • transport people back to meeting facility
  

Financial

  • find corporate sponsors
  • organize a fundraiser
  • seek donations of supplies/materials
